Historical and Artistic Museum of Planaltina

The colonial style house preserves part of the collection of its former owners – the traditional Guimarães family. Scholars of the Cruls Mission would have been received there when visiting the Planalto Central (region where Brasília is located in). Since 1974 the museum displays an old German piano, sofa set and courting chairs. The country kitchen stands out with its wood stove and iron pots. Everything just like in the old times.
